MJF'L'Chair Sah shot in lover's house
SIRAHA, JAN 26 - An identified person opened fire on Ram Chalitar Sah, chairman of the Democratic Forum, Siraha district in the wee hours of Thursday.
Sah, who received a bullet injury in his ribs in the incident, has been admitted to the BP Memorial Health and Sciences Institute in Dharan. He is out of danger despite a minor surgery he needs to undergo, sources at the hospital confirmed.
Upon receiving information of the firing incident, SP Rajesh Kumar Lal Karna, the chief of District Police Office, Siraha, who rushed to the incident site, has been carrying out the investigation into the case. The culprit is still at large.
According to DSP Badebabu Jha of Area Police Office, Golbazaar, Sah was shot at 1 am on Thursday while he was sleeping at the Asanpur-based house of a woman he used to have an affair with. It is learnt that the locals had thrashed the duo on the charge of engaging in an immoral relationship earlier.
