Maoist responsible in the delay of Statute-drafting - Upendra Yadav Chairman-MJF-Nepal

The Madheshbased Parties as well as the other small parties have been supporting the three big parties when it is required but we have never seen the big three parties supporting the Madhesh-based Political Parties at all.

 How have your Party analyzed the Present Political condition of theCountry?

 -  Infact, analyzing the Present PoliticalCondition of the Nation, it hasbeen passing through the most confusing period in the history of the Nation's Politics. And it is getting more worst and worst day by day. Above all, it has been on the other hand moving towards the direction less condition. And the main reason behind all the ongoing Nation's Political deadlocks and the crisis is the delay in the formation of the Constitution and the failure in the Statute- drafting within the period of two years, the incompletion of the Peace Process, similarly failure in bringing the Minority class People, backward classes, Dalits, Janajatis and the other community people in the Nation's mainstream. Due to all these reasons, the Nation is passing through the very critical and the complicated phase.

 But the big parties have been blaming the Madhesh-based Parties for the delay?

 - There is no place in accusing and blaming the Madhesh-based Political Parties for the delay in the Statute- drafting because the Madheshi Parties are not in the governing level whereas the Madheshi Parties have always been supporting the big parties in the Peace Process as well as the Constitution formation Process. The Madheshbased

Parties as well as the other small parties have been supporting the three big parties when it is required but we have never seen the big three parties supporting the Madhesh-based Political Parties at all. Therefore, there is no question of the Madhesh-based Parties responsible for the delay in the Peace and the Constitution forming Process.

 What kind of help and support the Madhesh-based Political Parties are expecting ?

 - As far as I am concern, to blame the Madhesh-based Political Parties means to hide the errors and the mistakes by the three big political parties. As I had said earlier the Madhesh-based political parties had always supported the three big parties on all the National issues and the matters. The Madhesh-based parties actually do not need the help

and the support of the three big parties but what we hope and expect is the Peace Process to be completed very soon and the formation of the Constitution which is the first priortiy and the requirement of the Nation today. If they become success in giving the completion to the Peace Process and the Statute-drafting Prcoess , this would be the big help and support to the Madheshbased Parties.

 Would you think the Constitution will be formed by Jestha 14?

 - The possibility of the formation of the constitution by Jestha 14 seems to be very less and minimal. The main reason

behind this is as I told you earlier that the three big political parties of the Nation have made the Nation the victim of the indecision and had pushed the Nation towards the Political deadlocks and the crisis. At the same time, the internal conflicts going on within the three big parties for the power and the post is the another main reason behind the failure in the formation of the Constitution. Therefore, as long as the three big's goes on with their internal conflicts and the disputes, the possibility of the formation of the constitution will be very less or almost zero.

 How have you viewed the issue of State Restructuring?

 - As far as I am close and concerned to the latest issue of State Restructuring, I say that the Process of the State Restructuring should be completed soon and immediately and the State should go towards the Federalism. But the main thing is that in the Process of the State Restructuring, the Madheshis, Dalits, Janajatis, Ethnic groups, the Minority and the backward class people should not be discriminated or Melioration. They should not be divided or suppressed otherwise, the State has to bear a big loss as the result.
