Koirala, Mahato Meet
Kathmandu, June 29: President of Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala and Chairman of Sadbhavana Party and Minister for Health and Population Rajendra Mahato held discussions regarding the latest political transition this afternoon.
During the meeting held at Koirala's residence in Maharajgunj, NC President said he has been taking initiatives to forge political consensus to settle the current political transition and asked for Mahato's support in this regard.
He said the parties have no option but to join hands for consensus after the expiry of the Constituent Assembly (CA).
During the meeting, Mahato urged the NC President to search a ground for fresh consensus instead of demanding the resignation of caretaker government. On the occasion, Mahato made it clear that he was also not against political consensus among the parties.
