Hasim century gives Madhyamanchal win
KATHMANDU, FEB 21 -Century from Hasim Ansari helped Madhyamanchal thump Madhya Paschimanchal by 98 runs in the Indian Ambassador’s Cricket Cup 2012 on Monday.
Ansari remained 100 not out off 65 balls including four sixes and nine boundaries as Madhyamanchal put on 199 runs for losing four wickets in the allotted 20 overs at TU Ground, Kirtipur.
Madhya Paschimanchal, who had lost their first mach, displayed better bowling on Monday with Rajesh Pulami claiming three wickets while Binod Das and Sudip Poudel shared two wickets each to bowl Madhya Paschimanchal out for 101 runs. In the other match, Sudur Paschimanchal overcame Purbanchal by 66 runs. Defending a total of 145 runs Sudur bowled Purbanchal out for 79 runs in 17.6 overs.
