Nepali Cricket Team Leaves For Srilanka

Kathmandu, Aug. 17: The national cricket team of Nepal left here on Friday for Sri Lanka to undergo preparations for the upcoming ICC World Cup league cricket division 4 tournament.
The team led by Paras Khadka includes Shakti Gauchan, Binod Das, Basant Regmi, Sanjam Regmi, Amrit Bhattarai and Chandra Saud, according to Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).
Nepal cricketers Sharad Bheshwakar, Gyanendra Malla and Anil Mandal will join the team in Sri Lanka tomorrow from Bangalore India, where they are undergoing batting training.
Likewise, Prithu Baskota, Rahul Biswakarma, Subash Khakurel and Pradi Aire, who are presently representing the country in the U-19 world cup in Australia will join the team in Malaysia.
The tournament is to begin in Malaysia on September 4. Also taking part in the tournament are hosts Malaysia, Denmark, America, Tanzania and Singapore.
